Honoro Vera Garnacha Rosé
This Tempranillo/Syrah dry rose from Honoro Vera is crisp, clean, fruit forward and delish. This medium-bodied rose is dry with a nicely crisp acidity, and it is both refreshing and approachable. On the palate, it is primarily red fruit (cherry with a touch of strawberries and watermelon). The finish is very smooth & bright.
PAIR WITH: Seared Tuna. Sushi. A long weekend. El Veijo del Valle Pinot Noir
El Viejo del Valle’ or ‘The Old Man of the Valley’ celebrates the 1950's Chilean street graffiti.
In the shadow of El Descabezado volcano, lies a hidden old block of Pinot Noir rooted in rocky, glacial soils. The ‘El Infernillo’ (little devil) vineyard was planted in 2000. All components of this wine are vinified in a 200 year old hacienda that has survived three of the strongest earthquakes in recorded history.
A wonderful find from the heart of Chile. This wine shows great length, bright fruit and brilliant texture from Pinot grapes - coupled with the character from cold, stony vineyards deep in the Central Valley's old glacial riverbeds. Summer fruits of red currant, raspberry and wild strawberries on the nose follow through to a juicy palate. A touch of oak adds spice complexity.
PAIR WITH: Charred ribs, an earthy mushroom risotto, or Carnitas. Avignonesi Cantaloro Toscana Rosso
The 2017 vintage was characterised by extreme climatic events, in particular by a spring frost and a long-lasting drought throughout the growing season that has put a strain on many vineyards. This gem comprised of 62% Sangiovese, 23% Merlot, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the silver linings in a tough season.
This versatile, young red wine has a ruby red colour and a bouquet characterised by inviting aromas of ripe cherries, blueberries and sweet spices. The mouth feel is medium-bodied, fruity and smooth with a long lingering, dry finish, reminiscent of brush and bramble, with an underlying hint of eucalyptus. A killer value and major over performer at its price point. Biodynamic and delish.

Elk Cove Pinot Gris
This wine is a beauty, with ripe pear, honey and citrus that jump out of the glass. This wine shows lushness and a juicy mouthfeel with white peach, lemon curd and honeydew melon leading to an elegant finish of lemongrass and slate. A shop favorite, that the world seems to agree with; this was Wine Enthusiast’s 10th best wine of their top 100.
PAIR WITH: Creamy Pastas, Smoked Meats, Seafood.
Terres Dorees Beaujolais Le Ronsay
This wine is a killer pour that shows the beauty and nuance from the Gamay grape. This single vineyard Gamay from 20 year old vines made by Jean-Paul Brun with minimal intervention farming practices, is aged in concrete tanks before bottling. Incredible raspberry, strawberry and cherry fruits on the nose that follow through on the palate. A phenomenal and organic value Beaujolais.
PAIR WITH: Chicken tacos. Salmon and Polenta. Soft Cheeses & Charcuterie.
Vignobles Brunier Piedlong Chateauneuf-du-Pape
A blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre, the Brunier brothers Châteauneuf-du-Pape Piedlong is gorgeous, and a great representation of the stellar 2015 and 2016 vintages. Blackcurrants, kirsch, graphite, olive, tapenade, and shitake notes all flow to a ripe, supple, sexy red that has fine tannin, solid depth, and a great finish. It shows the elegant style of serious CDP.
PAIR WITH: Thick cut steak.
